Nicholas Joseph Lorusso, also known as Nick Lorusso (born November 1967), is an attorney from New Orleans, Louisiana, who is a Republican departing member of the Louisiana House of Representatives from District 94 in Orleans Parish. He resides with his wife, Michelle, and their three children, in the Lake Vista neighborhood.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Rep. Nicholas Lorusso )〕 In 1985, Lorusso graduated from Roman Catholic-affiliated Jesuit High School in New Orleans. In 1988, he received the Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of New Orleans. In 1992, he obtained the Juris Doctor degree from the Louisiana State University Law Center in Baton Rouge.〔 He is a veteran of the United States Army.〔 He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Judge Advocate General's office.〔 Lorusso won his House seat in a special election called upon the resignation of long-term Republican Representative Peppi Bruneau. Bruneau's son, Jeb Bruneau, entered the race to succeed his father. A second Republican, Adrian Bruneau, another son of Peppi Bruneau, obtained 1,897 votes (20.7 percent).
